In a session a bit different to the normal, today I figure out some of the inner workings of the Militech 9mm Vindicator pistol, and start modelling some of the mechanisms that will allow the slide and the trigger to function properly.
Continuing the 3D modelling of the Militech 9mm, create the start of the chamber and grip and figure put the curves that blend between the two of them.
Continuing the 3D modelling of the Militech 9mm, I finish off the sizing and shaping of the muzzle as well as some of the more geometrically complex curves
Continuing the journey of modelling the Cyberpunk 2077 Militech 9mm, tonight I spend a lot of time getting frustrated with lofts. If you like seeing someone get increasing annoyed at 3D modelling for two hours whilst trying to figure out a lot of surprisingly complex geometry, this video is for you
In this video I start modelling a brand new prop, the Militech 9mm, a gun used heavily by the lead character V in CD Projekt Red’s upcoming game, Cyberpunk 2077. I talk through the way I’m translating the prop from trailer screenshots to usable 3D model, and the choices I make when deciding how to model the prop.
